What this site is

Tantrum Scripts is a free, independent parenting resource: a library of scripts and guides about toddler tantrums and behavior, written by a parenting editorial team. It is operated by Urban Algorithm LLC. It is not a medical practice, a therapy provider, or a substitute for professional care.

Not medical or professional advice

Every script, guide, and the scenario picker tool are practical writing and craft, not medical, psychological, or professional advice, and not a diagnosis of anything. Nothing on this site creates a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or other clinical relationship of any kind. They are a starting point you can adapt to your own family, not a guarantee that any script will work for your child. The frameworks we describe (emotion validation, co-regulation, and published comparisons like time-in versus time-out) are described factually and sourced; we do not claim to have originated them.

We write and source guides carefully and date each one, but parenting research and published guidance can change, and every family and child is different. We make no warranty that any script or guide is complete, current, or guaranteed to work, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it. Acceptable use
