Tantrum Scripts content is written and reviewed by the Tantrum Scripts editorial team before publication. We are parents and parenting writers, not doctors, therapists, or a medical practice, and we do not claim any clinical license or credential. The authority this page stands on is the process below, not a credential: every script is grounded in factually described, mainstream frameworks, and every guide names its sources.
How scripts are written
Every scenario in our script library is original writing, not copied or paraphrased from a course, book, or another site. Each one is grounded in two widely used, factually described concepts, emotion validation and co-regulation, explained plainly in our validation and co-regulation guide. Where published approaches genuinely differ (time-in versus time-out, for instance), we describe both sides factually and name our sources rather than picking a winner; see our time-in vs. time-out guide.
A pediatrician handoff line appears on a scenario only where a pattern is genuinely worth raising, such as persistent self-injury, never as a blanket disclaimer. Every scenario and guide carries an updated date, and this site's freshness
policy re-reviews published content every 90 days. Content
that falls out of that window is queued for re-review, not left to go stale.
The statistics page is this site's own original data study: every figure on it is computed at build time from our own script library, never hand-typed.

The newest reviewed content on this site is dated . This date is computed from the site's own scripts, guides, and FAQs, not hardcoded, and moves automatically as content gets reviewed.
